Project title: Mathematical Modeling Center for Complex Materials

Project summary: The purpose of this research is mathematical analysis and computation of various physical phenomena occurring in complex media with anomalies such as bubbles, particles, and inclusions. These phenomena are mathematically modeled by Stokes equation, Navier-Stokes equation, Helmholtz equation, and combined equation of Vlasov/Navier-Stokes. We develop new and efficient methods for computation of such complex flows.
